Wurding is a free extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on a desktop or laptop. It installs from the Chrome Web Store. Installation to Microsoft Edge uses the same link.
After you install
Come back to this tab and refresh it. Then select the word boat in the sentence below and click the ⁂ that appears beneath it.
The old boat rocked at the end of the jetty, its rope fraying a little more with every tide.
The side panel opens with boat looked up. Try rope and tide next. Click any neighbor to keep going.
Nothing appearing? Pages open before the install need one refresh. If the mark still doesn’t show, right-click the selection and choose Look up in Wurding, or click the Wurding icon in the toolbar.
Now try Pro free for 7 days
Enter your email and Pro switches on in this browser for 7 days for free: the full dictionary, fifteen neighbors per axis, and the full passage reading. No credit card required. When the trial ends you go back to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe — we’ll email you a few days before it ends.
Keep it one click away
Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome’s toolbar, find Wurding, and press the pin. The ⁂ icon stays visible, and clicking it opens the panel on any page.
Microsoft Edge
Same link. Edge installs Chrome Web Store extensions directly — if it asks you to “allow extensions from other stores”, say yes once.
On a phone or tablet?
Browser extensions don’t run on phones, so there’s nothing to install there. Email yourself the link and open it on your computer.
Firefox, Safari, or Mac?
Not yet. Leave an email and you’ll get exactly one message when the edition you want ships.
The free plan has no time limit
Skip the trial and the free plan keeps working indefinitely, no account needed. When you want more, Pro is $7 a month (US dollars).
